Shouldn't have tested again but I did with FMU before my blood test today. Hoping for a darker line as I am 4wks 1 day today.
Unfortunately, there is hardly a line now.
I know these tests are qualative and a line is a line, but im expecting my bloods to come back with a decreased HCG today.

HCG from Wednesday was down to 8, and despite using 1 progesterone pessary, my progesterone was down from 33 to 18.
Wonder if my decreased HCG is what took my progesterone down or whether it crashed to 18 on its own, resulting in m/c and thus lower HCG....

Nono it's not low progesterone that caused your loss. HCG triggers the body to increase progesterone not the other way around. If a pregnancy is not viable the body stops producing progesterone as a response.

So sorry you're going through this. You've done nothing wrong, early loss is actually very common and not related to anything you did.

Still hurts like hell all the same.

    Hugs.

Sometimes it's just a numbers game. You have to fertilise a few eggs to find the lucky one. Even for us IVFers it can take a few goes to get the right embryo. You'll know when it happens because HCG will be stupidly high and you won't need to question it. Good luck, keep trying.
