Hi Everyone,
My husband and I are in a process of finding the right clinic for egg donation, we are very confused as there are many clinics that seems very good but it's really hard to choose.
our gynie recommended looking at Greece/Spain, he said they are experts in this field but he couldn't recommend a particular clinic as he doesn't know any of them.
Does anyone have personal experience with the following clinics?
Spain:
IVF Marbella
IVF Spain - Alicante
Instituto bernabeu - Alicante
Greece:
NewLife IVF
Embroyland
Thanks heaps for all your help with this matter![]()

Hi
Spain is a bit more expensive than Greece , there is a very active thread on here for Greece and embryoland and serum are the two main clinics that everyone goes to. Pop onto the thread and the ladies are lovely and will give you a tonne of advice and help

Hi Adim, I agree with everyone: Spain is a little more expensive than Greece. But they have better success rates ... Obviously it depends on your financial possibilities but as each case is different (all the clinics I asked always need to talk to you first and have all the details of your case to give you prices) my best advice is to ask advice and prices to the five of your list and compare not just the prices but also the care they already give you by the way they reply. We did our research that way and chose to go with IVF Spain because of the good feeling they gave us with their first email contacts, then during our first visit through Skype and there is no words to describe the patient care they have during tests and transfer. I also did a bit of success rates research before choosing them and they were the best. It's true they are a bit more pricy but they did all the tests, used all the best technology, put me in such a relaxing place that I'm pregnant now and I only had two cycles with them (compared to the money I spent here for previous tries I lonly wish to have go for it before) I hope this help you to make up your mind. I send you my best wishes for this adventure and don't hesitate if you need more info. We all know this is a huge and scary journey xxx

Thanks alot RachBy and congrats on your pregnancy! This is so exciting!!!
I agree it's quite an adventure and it's very hard to choose the right clinic.
I've already contacted Spain-IVF and they replied instantly. They are not cheap but Their success rates look very good in comparison to other clinics and they seem extremely nice and professional.
I'm planning to continue my research, I think in this case I'll have to trust my gut feeling because they all seem to know what they're doing.
In the meantime, I wish you a happy healthy pregnancy

Some ladies find doing a spread sheet helps, also look at what the clinic does and does include in their costs, for example the clinic I went to includes icsi, 5 day transfers, freezing for the first year etc, some clinics charge extra for these on top of the cost of donor eggs. The clinic I went to also guarantees 2x5 day blastocysts as well, some clinic offer the third cycle free if you haven't fallen pregnant etc
