@Billie2 I'm sorry if I offended! I don't judge mums with careers I was just saying that I don't get it. I'm not sure I ever will but I might one day. 😊

@Billie2 i understand the work thing, although nothing in corporate level. Ive been studing and raising my kids and looking for work, only now im doing ivf ironically i got a job. It is hard for an employer to even look at you if you have kids and thats been my struggle even though i do the extra hours n never take a day off and do extra shifts. It is hard but my boys are in an expensive private school they love where they are flourishing after the public system failed them, some times you have to work to pay for those extras if you want them for your child as you know.

But now I've done some research I will be going through Flinders hospital IVF in Adelaide which costs about $1800.

Also something for you to look into - when you reach the safety net with Medicare (ie spend a certain amount on health costs) you start to get a lot more money back from Medicare. It resets in January. Say you do a cycle next year it will take u well over safety net so any further Medicare appointments (including GP or specialists and IVF you can get a LOT more money back - around 80-90% depending on what it is). I'm still researching it but I realised that our specialist appointment costs $200 and I get $190 back from Medicare now.
Westmead is cheap but you don't get a lot for that. Stock standard approach and not much montioring. It's like night and day from a more expensive clinic. In a FET they make you do OPK instead of blood tests. Ridiculous!!!

@mrsthomo All good.. We all want the same outcome and here to help each other. I hope that you will know in the very near future.. Its a battle but we will get there. We are too stubborn to accept anything else!
