Wasn't at my house, was in a community building so I had no idea it was even there. Just got home from hospital after blood tests etc all morning. He's in the clear. So stressful though.

We've had a big long talk about it all.
How scary I am glad everything is OK now. :/

Omg did you notify the community event? Imagine if other kids ate it too!

How terrifying for you so glad he's ok.

How is everyone going. @White Marge are you ok? Saw your friendship post how are you? Big hugs.

I'm so depressed. I hate where we live. I don't leave the house mon-tues because of how DS acts. I don't drive (can't) so we take pram if need be. So instay home. I'm literally home 24/7 unless hubby home. I just feel stuck. Plus trying get kids sleep in same room so I can sleep next to my husband ffs. DH hates his job he is not getting paid over time he does I think I need take up drinking!

I could of written your post word for word monnie.
I went to the shop yesterday, DH told me to take DS2 and I knew it meant a very quick go through the shops. Not even 10mins in the shopping center and he fell to the floor and cried. My Dad however was great. He took him for a walk so I could pay the lay by and carried him through target so we could get to his car.
    I don't drive either.
So normally a trip out is a day planned trip.

    My 'friend' post.
I since have strayed from my best friend as we both have different parenting styles for obvious reasons and well we drifted apart.
I see people and talk online.. But its casual. So very different to any friendship I have had before. The issue I am having is I don't know if I am lonely or not... Should I be? Lol

I have something of a mum group that I made through an early intervention course. After we finished the course, we decided together at the end of every month to have dinner and chat, just us mum's. We are still doing so 2yrs later. It is my get away evening and I always feel great afterwards. But like myself a lot of these mum's need routine and reliability and we can't just spontaneously go to a cafe together.

My best friend had her first child 3 days after I had DS2. It has helped our relationship drift apart, because the differences between ours kids IS large. So it effected things. Our online mum group from here believe it or not, was meeting up once a month also, it wasn't until our last trip to a kid farm that I stopped going.
All the kids went and fed the animals, while mine didn't even notice they existed and ran away into open fields, so not only did he not play any of the others, but I didn't get to talk with anyone either.. so it was an isolating experience.

Hugs I had to leave my dig I felt very stressed with being ousted. Then I felt nobody understood when DS was ill. I suffered badly with PTSD. Now his autism. I think I just like being lonely now i haven't found a autism support group.

We are moving back home next year mil said we can move in rent free as sil is moving out I will go back study and we might achieve something I don't know. But I need some extra support I'm going crazy.

I bit ****ed off as a friend said to me are you sure your daughter isn't autistic too?! Are u kidding!! She had a **** day at Childcare and she's very smart. She doesn't like rules I'm bit slack I guess so it's my own fault. I just try make my days easier getting through without DS's melt downs so I can't.p not let her have things too hope that makes sense. My kids are spoilt as **** with love not things. Ps not saying others aren't smart I'm saying she's bored that's why she acted up.

In the end monnie, you soldier on. One day at a time. That is motto. It's very easy to dwell on things that have been, and very very easy to stress out on things that have yet to come. One. Day. At a time.

The other thing that has helped me is educating myself as much as possible, it makes me understand my kids so much more, so when silly person says something to me, I can make their head roll with FACTS.

Today I met up with DS1's O.T, and started up discussing DS2, as I have asked her to start private consultations for him.
I feel like we covered heaps today, and I think we covered most things.

Toilet training is high on the list. The issue we are facing right now is he is becoming unconfortable in nappies, but is still unsure about sitting on the toilet, he is also now too big/heavy to use toddler toileting things, sitting on the big boy toilet he is afraid to sit on it.
She will be looking into some kind of frame for him to hold on to why he sits.

We talked about his Gymnastics, the PECS, the safety issues, the space issues, pretty any and everything I could think of, and she is going to be working on things for ALL of them.

She is even looking to refresher driving lessons for myself.

That's great. Do you not drive? I need get my licence but I have major anxiety because I haven't ever driven and I can't imagine ds in car as he screams

Ds has begun toilet training but at Childcare I get reports saying he doesnt?! I don't know if it's because too much going on or what. But at home we have no accidents to the point he doesn't even wear a nappy to sleep for day sleep!

So many food issues in this house I'm very very over cooking lol.

Nope I do not drive. Not even my mother drives and my grandmother didn't get hers until she was 40!

I did about a year and a half of driving lessons with friends and a professional doing manual. I was pretty good I think. But I had way too much anxiety that I failed my driving test.
After that I stalled on a busy 3 round about busy intersection and then couldn't get the car going and kept stalling out of panic.
I decided to stop for a while and then both boys were diagnosed after that and the money I had for driving went to specialists for the boys...
