I'm sure it's all totally overwhelming at the moment. I'm sure the coming days, weeks, months will feel like a roller coaster ride. Hoping everything goes as smoothly as it can and your little girl copes well with the treatments.

Wow so heartbreaking but you and your daughter are sounding very brave.

Is that a good sign that there are no ALL cells in her spinal fluid?

    Hi all.
I'm sorry I haven't updated since last year. It just came too much and today is my first time back on BH.
DD is now in remission and had another 2 years of chemotherapy to go until she finishes treatment. It's been a hairy ride, we nearly lost her a few times.
One time in particular was NYE, she developed a fungal sepsis because her immune system was so low.

Thank you for the love and messages. I have an update page for her on FB which you are most welcome to follow. It helps me by only having to update everyone once, rather than keeping individuals up to date

    It has, thank you
Last Christmas we were in hospital with one of her many infections (leukaemia kids are so prone to infections, often caught from the bacteria within their own body).
This Christmas we are home with family - the best Christmas I've ever had!
