    Default Bellamys organic what is going on?

    Does anyone know why or if there is a shortage with this formula? I want to buy step 3 and no one has it. Even on the bellamys website it is out of stock and 1 and 2 seem to be disappearing off the shelves as well or have out of stock signs.

    Yes there is a shortage. My sil emailed the company and they said there is a national shortage and they are working on it

    Because it's all being exported to China on the formula black market? Something like that was in the news recently...

    This. I work in pharmacy and even I can't get any. At the moment its Bellamys and Aptamil Stp3. We have had people ringing asking if the can use our account to order direct so they can get pallets.

    Yes people clean out the shelves to send back to family in China. It's becoming a bit of a problem, people who need it for their baby here in Australia can't get hold of it. Same with Karicare. If you're going to be using it for a while, maybe ask your pharmacy if they can put a few aside for you next time they order.

    I just checked our supplier website and all steps in Bellamys and Aptamil are now out of stock. My dd is 18 months so I've decided once this tin is empty (I bought 3 a couple of weeks ago) I'm moving her onto cow's milk. Shes doesn't really like it but I'm kind of hoping it will encourage her to ditch the bottle. I'm really annoyed with my work because they refuse to do anything to stop people buying bulk. They are taking orders for 6tins, so when it comes in off back order one person gets the lot. It effs me off big time!

    I've heard chemist warehouse has put a limit of 3 tins per customer? 6 tins seems a bit much if others are waiting for it too!

    Absolutely! It's quite easy to determine who is genuine and who isn't. My local CW is 1 tin at the moment.

    Shopping at woolworths yesterday i saw an Asian lady take all 6 tins of aptamil off the shelf. It was then empty.
