She spoke to the sonographer who said the hcg has to reach 1000 before they can scan for 2 sacs. She had suggested waiting until week 6. Uhm, I don't think so!!
She gave me LB's recommendations for OB's too. One is at an inner city hospital for high risk patients. The other 3 OBs are at my preferred local hospital. I just wish I knew if there were 2 sacs or not so I could make a more informed choice.
She's also calling me back with more intralipid apts and questioned doing them fortnightly. I didn't correct her when she thought it was at the suggestion of CFC.
Can you make an appoint with all the OB's you're interested in then cancel the one's you don't want once you find out if there's 1 or 2 in there baking away???😊

Great news Tahli. Is it wrong I'm hoping there are two? How many are you actually hoping for?

That's a brilliant idea @BlondeinBrisvegas, as always you've tricky ways around things!
I spoke to my gps clinic. Unfortunately because I'm over 40 shared care isn't an option with my gp. I would be automatically referred to a public ob. I had shared care with my son and it was great.
I spoke with the receptionist of the high risk city ob that LBs office suggested and she sounds great as does the ob for my local private hospital. I think I'd have to sensibly budget $5-6k out of pocket for a private ob with c-section.
The city ob is happy to book in LBs patients after LB has done the 6/7wk scan (as a favour as they're friends).
The local hospital ob that books up immediately takes 20 patients per due date month. In July she still has 13 places left. Obviously this would change on a daily basis.
My preference is for local...but if there's two sacs that may change things.
Bib, I don't have a clue about what my progesterone should be at the moment. Is 175 cool bananas?

@Tahli at 13dpo I was 186 and I had two going, I was 975 at 16dpo. It might just be a strong one, or you might see a nice rise by wed which will give you a better idea.

Dr m likes progesterone over 100 but I think most fs are happy with over 50.

    Congrats!

    Congrats @Corbes, it's a bfpathon!
