Bloody hell @infinity888! You have been through it! It's such a hard decision.... I'm even considering donor eggs but I don't really know anyone in the right age range who isn't crazy!

Oh you must have a laugh @infinity888! If we cannot have a bit of humour about it all then we would go nuts (like all my younger friends lol)

Omg what is wrong with me!!! I've just gone to do trigger and the injection casing was faulty and wouldn't go back to zero so I pulled the needle out and played with it then some liquid spurted out. I quickly shoved it back in and a little more went in. The majority of it went in but now I'm petrified it wasn't enough. I called the hospital and they just said there's nothing you can do now you'll just have to call the clinic in the morning. Waaaaahhhhhh. I'm so all over the shop. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzz. What will happen if it wasn't enough??

I think if it wasn't enough they just won't mature quite as much but they can mature after retrieval and be fertilised slightly later. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding?

The whole thing is nerve wracking isn't it?

Do you know how much you managed to inject?

Call in the morning. They can maybe top you up? Or change your time for collection?

Breathe. I'm sure youre not the first to go this.

I've shattered a Pregnyl vial. And prematurely spurted drugs too.

    ❤️

Interestingly I've just received a newsletter type of email from Monash with the following info:

"Access your Super for IVF Treatment
We have recently introduced another payment option that enables patients to access their super to pay for IVF. SuperCare is based on an Australian Government initiative to assist individuals and their families access their superannuation to cover medical costs.

The SuperCare IVF Services Advice team can facilitate the funding required for various treatments including:
    IVF
    Endometriosis
    Obstetrics & Gynaecology
SuperCare is the only company in Australia specifically established to assist individuals to be able to effectively access their Superannuation to fund IVF treatments and other medical inputs in an efficient and timely manner. By doing so, SuperCare ensures that its patients receive the priority treatment they deserve."

Then there's a link to access more info...

Personally I think that's bloody fab! I know not everyone will want to use super when their cash flow is poor.. But I know I'd certainly consider it if we really need extra cash next year. We make a good wage but it's more about needing money asap, not having to save up when you've used all ur savings. Think I'll look into this for future reference..
I saw it in some FB group. I'd happily spend my pitiful super on IVF. I'll look into it next year. I'm not worried about retirement. I'd rather baby/babies!

I think I probably injected at least 200 of the 250.
