Default Friday night live. Come chat.

    What's going on?

I'm on strike. I cleaned and swept this afternoon and all I've asked the kids to do is to put the chairs around the tables, have a bath and get the dustpan and brush and pick up the dirt I swept up. They still haven't done it. So they're not fed. Humph.

Fair call I say, if they are hungry enough they will get to work!!

DH is away for the weekend for a conference so I'm having a very quiet night, actually watching better homes and gardens.

I'm ****ed off at DH. He's gone out and I'm on night two of night weaning. DS will only take to me but when I lose my cool (which I do easily) I feel like he should be here. So I'm watching tv waiting for DS to wake so I can say no.

Plus our dog ate our window today. Yes our wooden window ffs

I am sitting down to meal plan for the week.

Today I learnt a valuable lesson about appropriate footwear when unloading a boot full of rubbish to the dump.

I've just finished fake tanning/eyelash dyeing/eyebrow dyeing and waxing and am now having a Cointreau on ice (OK... a double Cointreau...). I'm debating whether to give my drink a friend or go to bed because I'm knackered.

    Recovering.

We has magistrates court this arvo for work, we were two hours in when the fire alarm went off, we were all taken outside to wait until the fire brigade attended and checked the building. It was 35 degrees and no shade. Then after a very long time we were able to go back and finish off. It was draining. Thank god it's Friday.

Watching Cake Boss, while DD sleeps next to me. She fell asleep earlier than usual, so hasn't had her pre-bed milk, and her nappy was changed earlier than usual. Hopefully she doesn't piddle too much during the night so her nappy will last until the morning.
