I've just taken my implanon out and was wondering how long it took everyone to get their period? I had mine out 2 weeks ago. I haven't ovulated yet or had a period. Unless I ovulated on the couple days after removal. Please tell me your experiences.

Having had mine in for 5years (2 separate implants) - it took me around 4 months to get a regular period again. They started back after 4weeks post removal, but then were pretty erratic for the next few months.
I would recommend giving yourself at least 3 months (depending on how long you had it for). Then may go and run some standard fertility blood tests to check out your levels.
Having removed mine last November, and TTC from then on it was only 9months later I did the tests...which revealed some hormone imbalances & very low AMH.
So allow your body time to adapt again but then I would highly recommend running some bloods, if anything for your own peace of mind.

I had the implanon out, found out I was pregnant less than 2 weeks later- no period in that time. That pregnancy ended in early miscarriage, fell pregnant again 3 weeks later resulting in my now 3 year old dd3. My dr did tell me its possible to fall pregnant immediately after removal.

My last child was conceived 5mths after Implanon removal. I think it took about 3 mths for my cycle to regulate.
