I have jamberry junior Dinomite on currently. Love these ones. I will be buying more after my holiday in May. Quite a few people at work have commented how cute the dinosaurs are.

    Hi
I'm interested in getting some nail wraps but wanted to know if they actually last? How long do they stay on for before they start chipping and are they actually hard wearing I.e. Doing dishes and having showers etc

    Hi @maco

Mine last a least 2 weeks but I usually change them earlier for fun. They don't chip at all! I've known nurses who wear them and they wash their hands hundreds of times a day! (Can you tell I love jams?)

Thanks for the reply! I don't bother with nail polish as there's no point not even 5 min later I've either chipped it or you get those waves as I've touched something.another question do you just by the wraps or do you need something else for it to stick?

@maco, I work in a nursing home, forever washing my hands plus usual house work at home. I usually change my nails weekly because I enjoy the change but the longest I have worn them is for 1.5 weeks and they were still perfect as ever.

I bought some nail strengthening polish to wear under mine. I don't think the wraps stay on as well but that could of been because I did my nails at work and I didn't allow enough time for the polish to dry properly before applying the wraps. Otherwise, they have been one of the best investments I have ever made to be honest.

One of my favourite combos to wear currently would be one of their jamberry nail polishes or gel under a clear patterned wrap.

The mini heater is fantastic @maco but all you really need to apply them is:

    Wraps

Heat source (mini heater, hairdryer, toaster (?), wheatbag)

Cuticle pusher/stick (to push back and remove invisible cuticles)

Nail file or clippers to trim off excess wrap

Alcohol wipe or vinegar (to clean nail bed before you start)

I hate pushing back my cuticles and find it uncomfortable so never do it. I can't even see what I'm meant to be pushing, it just feels a bit painful when I try. Can anyone see them in my pics?? Could this be why mine only last a few days max? My wraps never touch the sides of my skin so shouldn't really matter, should it?
