Struggling to understand how people enjoy hot weather. Trying to sleep in a hot house (yes, NYE; baby who doesn't sleep wins), and clearly not succeeding!

My babies adore sleeping in the humidity. But if it gets under 15 degrees overnight- no one sleeps.

    Sigh.

You're in trouble in Canberra then! We had a heater in DS's room from early April, because it got down to 14 degrees in his room overnight then. It's worth the investment.

Sitting on my lounge enjoying the blissful silence because at 10am, both DP and DS are still sound asleep. I haven't enjoyed this since my (normally) little early riser was born almost 21 months ago.

    So disappointed in DP.
He offered to take DS for the day so I could have some time to myself after a very trying week looking after a sick little one. Well DS just wasn't up to the big plan DP had made so he left him at home and went out with his mates anyway.
He went out last night and spent all yesterday fishing, when do I get to do something for myself?
I'm now sitting here crying in my active wear (I had planned to go for a run) which are now covered in snot streaks from DS who is screaming.
Sorry, this got a bit venty 😩

    Big hugs @calicocat
That's so unfair! My Dp is like that. All the time. Never thinks. Must be a male thing. I'd ring him and tell him to get his butt home and share the responsibility by giving u a break! Big hugs. Xo

    Big hugs @calicocat xxxx

I am waiting for DS1 to wake up so we can go visit my Dad in hospital then go to the park. It's 11:10am! He's ten for crying out loud, not even a sleepy teenager! I've tickled him, ripped the blanket off, poked his belly button.... Nothing. *twiddles thumbs*
