Default Slow rising HCG, sac visible anyone had similar experience?

    Hi everyone,
I'm only new to the forum as i wanted to ask a few questions and if anyone else has had the similar or same experience.
I had what I thought was my period on 17th sept. Bleeding was on and off for the week then stopped on the 25th Sept. However on the 28th sept I started the have light spotting for a couple of days and mild pelvic pain. Went to Dr to find out I was pregnant. I was very excited but due to symptoms had a blood test and scan straight away. Since then I've had about 4 scans and 5 blood trsts. HCG levels have been rising slow, 1100, 1600, 2000, 3600, 4000 then my latest has shown 7000. Drs are all confused and thought I could have ectopic pregnancy but scans have ruled that out, then they thought maybe unviable pregnancy and possible miscarriage however my last scan showed a sac in the uterus but looked empty. I have another scan on Friday. Has anyone every experienced anything like this before?

Sounds like it could be a blighted ovum.

    Hi Casey,
Sorry to read. Unfortunately I have experienced this and it turned out to be a blighted ovum (so I was told). My body didn't recognise this and at just over 10 weeks I had a D&C. I hope to bump your post so others with positive stories can offer their stories as well. Good luck and I hope it's a 'viable' pregnancy for you

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully I'll get some clarification after Friday's scan

Hi CLM - my story and numbers were similar to yours and I did en up miscarrying. Like Chillies my body took forever to recognise it and I even got a slow little heartbeat briefly... It all just happened to slowly and I had a natural MC at 10 weeks.

Although check online as there are many stories similar to ours that ended up with a take home baby...is this your first? This was my third and unfortunately knew these numbers were not right for me as my first two had HCG that just shot up....

    Hi Meld,
Yes I've read a few different stories and your correct some cases have been positive others not so. This is my first pregnancy so I'm concerned. Fingers crossed for Friday scan.
