@Turqoisecoast my DH got 2 dental implants this year & his dentist has a special Dr who comes to the clinic for sedation (twilight sleep). He was out the whole time! It's in Perth if your anywhere near there.
That sucks your tooth has gone. Dentistry is so fricken expensive!

I'm in Melbourne! yeah I'm going to ask about an implant, this tooth has been crap for years so I'd rather they just extract it and put something permanent in. I'm happy to pay if it's a permanent solution.
was the insertion of the implant a one visit job? was it a lengthy procedure? I can handle an extraction awake but I hate lengthy fiddly procedures that take forever. I get really panicky laying back for ages with my mouth so wide open, like I can't breathe.

Cost was about $7k per tooth, but permanent - he might have to get the crown replaced in about 15 years.

Does it need to be replaced? I hate the dentist and have terrible chalky teeth so when I had a sore tooth a few years back it ended up with extractions but I never had an implant I just have a gap. They had to take my wisdom teeth out too so they did them all at the same time in day surgery. I had a crown last year and geez it all adds up, I hate my teeth.

Everyone is asleep but me! I had the chance to sleep past 6am and I can't.
I am hungry.

for the first time ever DS just asked me if I wanted a cup of hot milo - he was going to make it. But we have no milk or milo to make it with & now I really really want one

I have some seriously painful cankles going on this morning. Oh the joys of third trimester! 😣

DH: Tiny Dancer, DS's porridge is bubbling over
Me: Sorry, I can't see it because you're standing in the way.
DH: I've moved over as much as I can.
Me: *come back into the kitchen to check. DH is still standing exactly smack bang in the middle of the bench and using up 2/3 to make his lunch (which he could have done last night since he was reorganising the left overs I packed up).* Oh, sorry, I didn't realise I had so much space. *mentally rolls eyes*
A few days ago I was being told off for taking up too much room, and I was using less than half the bench space!
