I'm the person you cull from Facebook! I post so much crap even DS's godmother said the only reason she hasn't hidden me is because she doesn't want to miss pics of DS!

I have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and racism. My family are all highly religious and when the US legalised gay marriage, I deleted every family member bar a select few who didn't make derogatory posts about it.

I cull people from FB. Not because I don't like them etc but mainly because if I don't talk to them or whatever I just delete. Not sure why ha.

    And I'm a big poster

I dont cull often but i do get deleted coz i dont reply to everything or chat to everyone in a regular basis. Doesnt bother me as much as it used to. My life is extremely busy and has been for a long time with shift work.

I want to delete some people from work but i know if i delete them, huge issues will arise from it all. The dynamics of the friendships have all changed and they are more aquaintences now than friends.

Like PP's, I delete people who I never speak to IRL. Though I haven't actually deleted many people, as I am very strict on who I add to begin with.

I've also deleted one of my friends because he was/is Tony Abbott's #1 fan, and loved to dribble all kinds of offensive rubbish related to that.

I don't get why you would delete Someone because they don't post often. What harm does it do to keep them on? They might look often but not post.

If you don't interact with them in real life I could see why.

Default What makes you delete someone from Facebook?

Couldn't agree more. Seems odd to delete someone you like just because they don't post often.

I don't have fb, but I did years ago and I deleted a woman straight away who I thought was just never on fb, but then was commenting to a mutual friend about my photos of my kids. She was a woman I knew years ago, and then having her have that 'window' in to my life that she never commented on, and never shared her own life on fb was too stalker like for me so I deleted her.

I used to cull people all the time...rarely personal. Usually for the reasons Fearless leader mentioned. Oh, and if people started using their fb to promote their business constantly (eg. they got involved in home party style selling) and stopped posting anything else they were gone because I don't like it when people constantly try and sell to their friends. Create a business page for those interested to follow.

When I delete people it's very rarely personal. I like to keep my Facebook pretty secure, I share pics of DS for my family overseas, so I don't want friends of friends, work people, acquaintances, etc seeing my photos and knowing about my life.
