Default Christmas is only 72 days away !!! what are your plans

we are having family over at ours again :-) I had decided 3 years ago while kids are little I won't be traveling ( family is all local anyway) but they want to stay at home and play with their stuff :-) understandable
and my family feel the same :-)
We just do cold foods to hot to cook ( meats and salads), swim in the pool and have a few drinks :-) nothing fancy but well enjoyed

I'm with Gracie's mum - hopefully I'll have had Bub and be home again in time for Christmas - a good excuse to relax this year (as much as you can with a newborn). On the flip side that means that there will be no time for last minute shopping or baking so will be getting that all out of the way as soon as possible.

Our little Christmas tradition is a fresh fruit platter for breakfast quietly at home by ourselves & exchanging presents before doing anything with extended family.

We've organised to have my family over for Christmas dinner (because we'll have a toddler & newborn, and if they need to go to bed we can just put them to bed without having to be out somewhere), but DH's brother has apparently planned to do dinner at his house as well, so I don't know if/when we'll see his family that day.

I can't wait to have Christmas with my two little girls!
