Default Gasto in toddlers 1.5yr old & 3.5yr old

Hello all, I am after advice in treating gastro for my babies.
They are refusing food and if they drink something they vomit it out.

What foods should I try? Avoid?

They are sleeping a lot but not lethargic......

I've tried plain pasta, bread, milk and water.

    Thank you

I'd focus on fluids until the vomiting stops. Like a pp suggested, hydralite or ice. Let their tummies rest a bit. With the fluids go for frequent small sips.

I agree with focusing on fluids until the vomiting stops. Give their tummies a rest. Hydrolite icypoles or drinks to keep fluids up (even if they just vomit it up afterwards) - just tiny sips of fluids though to help minimise the risk of more vomiting. Hopefully it doesn't last too long for them (and you!), gastro is awful.

I have had myself, my 3 year old, 8 year old and 12 year old sick with Gastro today and just now my 6 year old has started vomiting. We all had Icy poles to help stay hydrated and None of us ate until approx 12 hours after it all started and then it was just toast. Don't bother feeding them until they sre actually hungry (I know none of us have wanted to eat all day)

Now I am off to wash yet another load of bedding and figure out what the heck to do about work tomorrow now that I have ANOTHER sick child. (And curse whoever it was that was out in public during or just after being sick grrrrrr )

Thank you, it's still happening here. I thought yogurt was bad as its dairy?
