    Default For those with Eczema

I came across this today and thought it was very helpful. DD has mild flare ups, as do I, and we use hydricortisone cream as needed but this is good to know...

We're going to the RCH for allergy testing for DD1. Have you had it done?

This isn't actually my printout, I saw it on my facebook feed and just wanted to share. My DD's Eczema is thankfully quite mild, if I don't use the prescribed cream for a few days it flares up slightly and we haven't had any allergy testing done.
Does your child have acute flare ups? I hope you find some answers with the testing, good luck.

My 3 year old has severe eczema and it's a life saver. Makes the skin nice and smooth and protects against infection

It's true. I thought that was very strange as we are taught how deadly bleach can be, but given the ratio it's safe. It's not pouring bleach onto the skin. A lady recently in the UK suffered horrific burns after trying to treat her eczema with bleach! I think she doused herself in it!
**For anyone thinking of using bleach, read ratio CAREFULLY or ask your doctor **

My friend's daughter has the most severe case of Eczema I have ever seen, and after many, many trips to specialists through the years, the one thing which has helped immensely was a top Sydney Specialist putting them onto bleach baths and the improvement in her skin has been out of this world.

Wow! I'm new to all this. dS2 has it and we haven't identified the causes/triggers yet. So far I've just been slathering him in QV cream.
