Hi There
I have undergone 4 failed IVF/ICSI cycles over the last couple of years and looking for a new doctor/clinic either in Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast. I have had one recommendation for Dr Das if anyone has a review for Dr Das they would like to share?
I have multiple issues including severe endometriosis, low AMH and abnormal sperm and my current doctor has advised that if IVF hasn't been successful after 4 rounds our chances are not great. But not ready to give up just yet so thinking a new doctor would be a good next step just in case they can recommend something we haven't tried yet.
Thank you

Just wanted to say good luck with it all hun. We used ovulation induction several years ago for dd but have been ttc number 2 for 2 and a half years now and have progressed to ivf. I used a very good specialist on the coast but was not successful due to a number of extra issues my body kept throwing up due to my pcos. I was told I was a difficult case so have now moved down to Brisbane to see Warren De Ambrosis, I cant tell you of any success as yet as we are just starting again on the roller coaster but many women on here speak very highly of him. Hoping to return to my old fs soon as an obstetrician

Thanks Hayside. Yes I have just been reading about the very highly regarded Dr Warren DeAmbrosis. Just reading the comments makes me want to pick up the phone and book in straight away! Did you wait long for an appointment? I actually live in Central Qld and there are not too many options here so will have to travel to see someone new. Its encouraging to hear he takes on more difficult cases and has given me a little more hope.

If I were you yes I would make an appointment asap as I phoned for an appointment back in May and have only just had my initial consultation 3 weeks ago. They do offer for you to go on waiting list for a cancelation appointment and I did get a phone call back in July but we weren't in a position to take it. It was everything I had read on here that pushed me into making the appointment and he has already identified lining issues which I am hoping he has some answers to when I see him in Friday. I think he may be worth the travel for you if you are a more difficult case from what I have read up on him on this site.

I'm pretty sure that my OB/GYN doctor (Fertility Solutions - Dr Bogiatzis) looks after patients as far north as Rockhampton and far west as Emerald, if that helps? They do skype appointments to discuss IVF options and then local GP's can help with fertility tests so you don't have the big trips to the clinic as often. The actual clinics are based in Bundaberg and Sunshine Coast. I have found them to be really helpful and kind, my sister, and some extended members of my family (cousins) have used them too, and we've all been happy with them. https://fertilitysolutions.com.au/

I had 4 failed attempts too. 3 full rounds and one frozen. So we moved to Charlotte Mooring. And she was successful the first go!
She was a mentoree of Dr Warren de Ambrosis so the protocol was brutal; specially compound vitamins to prepare then an assortment of tablets and extra needles.... but it worked.
Plus she is really lovely.
On a side note... it apparently takes an average of 6 ivf rounds to conceive. There was a study published around 2 years ago on it.
