So sorry to hear about your cycles TNTH and RR. I can't imagine how upsetting and disappointing that must be![]()
Just a thought but would you consider waiting for the new year to transfer? Then you can access the Medicare safety net for the whole of 2016.

Same as us.
We will be doing at least 1 IVF cycle in 2016 so we will be hitting the safety net pretty quickly I expect.
We've also got an appointment with a new specialist for DP next month! Will be good to get it out of the way so we can commence whenever we want next year. He comes highly recommended by lots of people so I feel good about it.

Thanks @A&S the TWW is dragging already! Have to get through to next Friday! If this little bean doesn't stick we might be able to get one more transfer done this year but we will wait and see what happens. I am hoping and praying that our little bean sticks!!! 🙏🏼

I'm feeling really positive about this cycle and that's making me really nervous! I can almost hear the good news in my head so I really hope this works. Could we lucky enough to fall on our second attempt??? Really?? I hope so! Just over a week until we know. Come on little bean! Your mummies want to meet you!!
It also occurred to me that our ultimate plan will still work out. We wanted to have the same donor and because we stimmed at the same time we still have the same donor!! We were allowed to distribute DPs embryos between us because we were both still holding the spots which means we will still continue to hold two places now so at the end of the day my stim cycle achieved did something! If I hadn't of stimmed then they wouldn't have been able to hold a place for me under that donor so that part has worked out well! The universe obviously knows what it's doing after all 😊

Great to hear you're feeling positive TNTH. And that's so true about the donor! It gets so complicated with the allocations of family spots. At the moment I think DP and I are still holding two but as we expressed DP won't ever carry or do another cycle, I think she relinquishes her spot once our baby is born.
I asked why she needed a spot at all but they explained that even though all of her embryos would be donated to me in the end, at the beginning, she was still a 'family spot' whilst stimming and until pickup.
Fingers crossed your little one has now become a blast and will soon implant!

Yep it does get complicated but I spoke to them today and they confirmed that we will still both hold a spot so we can purchase more sperm and do another cycle with him 😄 we won't jump the gun and do that til we have a sticky so that we know we are using it for baby number 2 if you know what I mean.
DP is feeling pretty good about it too so I'm going to allow myself to be a little optimistic about this knowing we have a plan if it doesn't work anyway. Feeling happy and giddy at the moment though! Mum also has a good feeling about it so maybe that's a good sign haha.
