Default Single woman looking for fs in Brisbane

Hi just wondering if there are any single ladies (mid 20s) who have conceived using sperm bank and iui. What clinic/dr did you use? What was your experience like? How expensive was it?

    I'm located in north Brisbane.

Has as anyone used QFG at Everton park?

Sorry if it is too personal. I'm new to the site and couldn't find any other posts about this.

You don't really need to use a sperm bank unless you are infertile. It's much easier to use a known donor and get pregnant at home. I'm a single guy in Brisbane that helps women get pregnant for free. Email me at brizzydonor@hotmail.com if you want to chat.

Thank you but I ended up going with dr Sheahan at QFG Everton park. I felt more comfortable using a clinic.

I did Ivf thru qfg Pindara, Gold Coast and they were amazing. I dare say qfg Northside would be too, I know a friend who tried 2 diff city ones before doing qfg Brisbane and noticed difference in how they treat u immed. Their lab is one of the best in country, Ivf is heaps about the lab ( well and mental care!)

I've found QFG and dr Sheahan to be great. It was never an issue that I'm doing this journey solo. I had my first IUI in November and another in December.

I'd recommend them to everyone. I was really surprised that I didn't have to wait for anything. I saw the specialist a few days after ringing up and got the forms for blood tests. Had the counselling session, information session with a QFG nurse and received my donor website access a few days after that and chose my donor. I then had my monitoring Ultrasound and IUI the cycle after my first appointment (about 2 weeks later)

The IUI in November (no trigger shot at my request) didn't work so we tried another natural cycle using the ovidrel shot this round and if it didn't work this round then I'm going to try a medicated cycle in February.

I think it was $240 for 5 vials of Aussie donor sperm. The first IUI was more expensive because I had tests but the second IUI was $770 plus $40 for the ovidrel shot. I reached my safety net so I got $600 for the IUI back from Medicare a few days later so it wasn't too expensive.
