How is it that 1 gestone = 2 pessaries = 4 crinone when they are 100mg, 200mg and 100mg respectively? Is it because the gestone is injected whereas the other two tend to leak a lot out?

@JulieMaloney I think it's because of the extras needed to make crinone and pessaries would dilute the progesterone? Whereas gestone is a liquid so only had a bit of oil as conduit?

    That's just a guess tho!

@Blossom74 OMFG!!!! I can't believe what you went through with that stupid frucking moron at the hospital Luv!!!

How dare she insinuate you've been sleeping around with someone else??? What part of IVF and Vasectomy doesn't she understand??? Needs to go back to Med school by the sounds of her!!! Frucking idiot!!!!

Anyhoo...am so sorry you had to go through that Luv. As if the situation isn't upsetting enough without an extra helping on top Am glad too that your parents will be there with you and to look after you. Totally understandable about DH not being able to take time off work.

Hoping you have a good sleep tonight and somehow wake up with your memory of today totally erased!!!xo

@Blossom74 what a day! You poor thing. It amazes me just how insensitive some people can be. I'm glad you have your parents for support. Love your name change by the way, the little story behind it is just beautiful ❤️
And we didn't find out the gender, we wanted a surprise.

I'd be the same @Petal. I know there are lots of people who want to know so they can plan and do up their nurseries appropriately etc, but for me, well, there are so few nice surprises in life. I wouldn't want to know either.

@Petal40 glad everything is going well but I bet you could do without those calls! Not helpful to be vague about what's wrong, I don't think the nurses realise how anxious we are half the time :\
@Blossom74 aka krysta so sorry you had to go through all those weird questions! She doesn't sound like she knows bugger all! Two sperm fertilising one egg? WTF I don't think that's possible. (Ok, I just googled it and it is possible but very, very rare, wow that's amazing http://content.time.com/time/health/...603799,00.html)

So I think if you've gone through IVf you have a much better idea of whats happening. I mean there's being thorough and then there's really pushing it. (asking if you've been shagging someone else while doing IVF to have a baby with your husband?? wtf?)
Glad you don't have to wait too long and can get the D&C this friday
@infinity888 good luck with your follicle scan tomorrow, let us know how it goes
@winsor how are the lines looking today?
