    Half my hand luggage will be food. I think they said they will give jar food. My kids have never eaten anything like that only fresh.

    I travelled with Emirates a few months ago and they gave my DS jars of purée which here was no way he would eat. I did have snacks for him but i asked for the kids meal and they have me one for him as they had some spare. It was pasta bolognaise which he ate.

    You don't need to worry about the liquid/gel limit rules if it is for an infant. You should just have it all together in the same bag then declare it as you go through security. I took bottles full of water to prepare bottles, squeezy sachets of yoghurt, made sandwiches, fresh fruit, muesli bars, crackers etc. I just put it in a lunch box with a small ice block to keep the yoghurt cold.

    Looks like I over loaded on snacks and after all that she refused to eat anything.
