I hate to fail... So here's a present for you that I found while searching for "criminal minds state fair"

(long story....there was an old episode where a kid was nicked from a fair that I thought may have been playing in the back of my head today)ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1443963212.770882.jpg

What a load of bull poo. You should always reply with your golden words of wisdom.

Btw I jealous of your time. It's 11.05 and eyes are falling out of head but I can't sleep.

I would have thought awesome free balloon animal. And probably thought pedo too but taken balloon for ds to enjoy then be creeped out for rest of day that it was a pedo then get over it.
I wouldn't have let the guy catch on I thought he was dodgey and been very grateful to him. But im super paranoid about perves so I would have thought the same as you

When I worked in a kids toy shop we used to give out balloons all the time. I wonder if anyone thought I was a pedo 😂😂😂

If you were an employee of the kids toy shop, and this was obvious to people, then my guess is probably not..?

Can't say I'm particularly wary of strangers. Most abuse is perpetrated by 'trusted' people.
I know a pedophile (attracted to children, no abuse...and yes, the police know everything I know). I went to school with him; had known him for more than 10 years before I found out. You'd never pick him if you were focused on stereotypes.

I would probably check my purse and handbag after he gave us the balloon. I would have thought it would have been a distraction to possibly a wallet thief or the like. But I would have been wary too, as thieves or whatever often catch you offguard, so that your guard is down, therefore you act differently than you normally would.
