    Default Cooking help

Dp has found a couple recipes he wants me to make, they are gluten free which we don't need so I'm wondering if i can use plain flour instead of besan/ chickpea flour? Tia

Depends on the recipe. Some things need the density of the different "flour".

Besan flour has a very distinct flavour (yummy) so it could be just as much for that as for GF. I wouldn't substitute with plain flour as it's way too light and will taste completely different.
