    Default Summer dessert ideas

    Hey ladies
    I'm going to a get together on Sunday and need to take a dessert/sweet treat. It's meant to be 35 degrees! I would prefer to make some sort of slice but there will already be 2 chocolatey slices, so would need to be something a bit different! There's already lots of fruit salad/fruit kebabs, I was thinking little trifle cups but generally all the food gets put out on a big table for everyone to slowly pick at and I worry it would go yuck. So any ideas??

    Pavlova - take it and assemble while there (pre made base, cream, fruit thrown on top)

    What about the banana caramel pie biscuit things? With the butternut biscuits softened in the oven, fill with caramel top n fill, slice of banana then cream? They'd need to be kept refrigerated until serving so that might be a problem?

    Or mini pavlovas? Also will need to be refrigerated?

    Maybe a cheesecake set in a slice tin so it's easy to eat with fingers.

    I recently made a sweet platter with some fruit, marshmallows, scotch finger biccies and those TV snack malt fingers and served that with a 'cookie dough' dip, it was delish!
