    Default implantation bleeding or....?

hey everyone, im kinda new here. been a member for a while but forgot about it until recently. me and my other half are ttc and were sure we had timed it all right. checked our dates etc and everything went according to plan. generally a couple days before im due i get sore boobs and the grumps, first day of is extremely painful and can barely move.
i was due 2 days ago and ALWAYS regular but this time has been odd.
2 weeks ago i had terrible lower back pain for about 3 or 4 days, boobs went up an entire cup size and extremely sore and sensitive, felt sick for over a week, tired, headaches and bloated.
about 3 days ago i had some minor bleeding which was strange as it wasnt a flow or anything, just went to the toilet and it was there then no more after that. today ive had some heavier bleeding, but not at all like my regular period. no pain, boobs havent been sore, not tired or bloated and i havent PMS'd at all (very unusual, my mother can time when im due by how well we get along).
it was a different colour too, generally that time of month is dark and brownish and very heavy and very clotted for the first day then eases off, but this time has been bright red with one or two clots (which could have even been discoloured CM). nowhere near as heavy as i would generally expect and it seems to be pretty much finished already.
HPT yesterday and got a negative, however i dont want to get my hopes up but this is very different to what im used to. im gonna wait it out (what else can i do ) and see how it all rolls out in the next few days.
has anyone got any exp or advice?

What HPT are you using? An FRER should be able to pick up a pregnancy 2 days overdue. Considering your cycles are always regular.

Generally speaking implantation bleeds are not red - more like light brown spotting and over within 24 hrs.

Not saying it isn't possible but based on the info you have provided it's unlikely. Do another HPT in the morning (preferably an FRER). If you continue to bleed I would say it's your period.

Or breakthrough bleeding for some reason including pregnancy.

Agree with PP...get a FRER in****** HPT & retest with FMU if possible.

    Good Luck!!!
