Hi all. Such wonderful positive news all round.

MamaKes don't labour too hard over your donor. You're just after good healthy DNA. The outcome (child) could be any manifestation of genes and environment. Just pick a good young healthy donor- he's very right with what he says.

AFM- bub 3 months old and today I start the pill and the quest for number 2 begins. Oh it's all catching up with me way too quickly.

Thanks KMP - I'm trying not too but I think it's my personality to obsess over the minor detail and doing so, try to get some element of control over a situation I really have no control over. Who needs a psychologist when you can self-diagnose hey?

Today I heard about Travelling Donors run by Genevieve visiting Brisbane next year... has anyone had experience with them, used them, know someone who has, and has also heard they are bringing a donor group to Aus?

    Thanks ladies. x

Not sure how legal that Travelling Donors group would be considering Australian law. I'm going to snoop into this.

Congratulations Lolly and Irish! Very exciting times, it's great to realise you are one step closer to being a mummy!

Lolly, when do you do BTs?

AFM - our latest HCG is 38,092. Dr is happy with that though my progesterone has dropped from 238 to 160 so I have to get another BT on Friday. Hopefully its just wiggling along and not nose-diving completely. Arrrh, you are never out of the woods!

I agree. DH and I are very similar in hair and eyes so I think it would just seem more natural - less obvious. Eventhough we plan on being upfront and telling our family and friends its just suits us best. I've heard nothing but good things about going to CT. It all just adds up to good sense. It's and expensive and scary road to travel. Having a little control over this one thing will make the journey that little bit easier - I think anyway.

    hi Jennski,
hope your progesterone improves. Had my beta on Monday and it was 263! My FS said no need to repeat till next Monday. Nausea has started today and I'm feeling a lot of pulling/cramping but dr said that's normal. Not sleeping well at all, not sure if it's still jet lag or anxiety. Both maybe! How are you feeling? I was thinking this morning you hadn't posted in a while
