ECM - Progynova usually matches the progesterone in terms of length you take it after a transfer. Good Luck.

@Jennski - I'm so excited for you and have been watching the forum like a hawk to follow your progress.

I'm really happy that you are back in CT so soon. It felt like such a cruel blow when Wazbub and I came away with positives but you didn't, so this time it needs to be you (or I will need to have serious words with the universe). Too bad I'm not there to get a sneak peak at your donor, ha ha ;-)

If you can bring yourself to do it, please post with updates every step of the way. How was EPU??

AFM - I'm 14 weeks and waiting on the results of the Harmony/NIPT test, so the worrying never seems to stop!

    xo xo Kay

Greetings to all from Cape Town!

We saw Dr LeRoux on Mon. He advised that our donor is doing well and he could already see 10-12 eggs, so hoping this is good However today he called to advise that he's seen our do or again today, and although still pleased, instead of retrieving on Fri, he'd like to push one-day to Sat. This makes me/us nervous. Should I be concerned? Doesn't a delay suggest things aren't in fact going well??? So now we're looking at our transfer on Tues or Thurs next week. Any thoughts or feedback on this would be very much appreciated.

On a separate note, I saw accupuncurist, Sarah Hewland, yesterday, and really liked her. I will see her again on Fri and then on transfer day.

Now to focus on more relaxing ....

Safe travels to all of you still heading my way - can't wait to meet each of you

    Xoxo

Cjocoh ... Don't worry bodies are all different but the delay is likely a chance to give some immature follicules a chance and chance to get lots of eggies .... on an aside my preemptive text keeps changing your name to chocoholic !!
Good luck all the CFC girls baby dust to all of you ...

    CJOCOH

I also saw Sarah for Accupuncture on my last cycle so hopefully that is a good omen. As everyone has already said, don't worry about egg collection being moved that is quite standard as the date in the plan is only theoretical.

Good luck and enjoy the lovely Cape Town.

I also saw Sarah four times when I was in CT last year and I got a BFP so I'm a firm believer in her magic powers... At the very least, I found it very relaxing which helped with the stress of the process.
Good luck to everyone in and about to go to CT. Wish I was back there, will always be one of my favourite cities...for obvious reasons!
    Hi to everyone else.

Hope all is going well for you over in CT cjocoh71 and jennski. Safe flight tomorrow ECM.

AFM I have received the cost breakdown for the travel/accom expense we have been asked to pay, it includes one flight (I googled the location then the SAA cost to get from there to CT to work that out), a hire car, daily allowance of 250R x 10 days, 10 days accommodation at 750R/day, a total of 17 177R at current prices not new year prices which is more than they have asked us to pay. Hopefully we won't be asked to pay more when actual cost is known. Our donor must be going to stay in CT from the start to end of the cycle. I guess that is cheaper than paying for several flights and I wouldn't expect her to drive 1000km to get to CT. It is very good of her to want to do this considering how far she now lives from the clinic and the fact she wasn't promoted as being available and has said yes to our request. Still waiting to hear from Cyndi. I hope we will be able to afford a trip financially wise at new year considering how much everything is going up.

The egg donor I fell in love with was from Pretoria and in another reply I said her costs were going to be $2500 but I was wrong. I just checked my notes and they were going to be the same as yours @BB4Me. Good luck!

25 eggs retrieved, the party in the Petrie dish has 18 so far that are sitting up sipping cocktails at the fertilisation bar. Whoo Hoo!
