If you went as cheap as you could I think you could do it for around $14000 but we did everything we wanted - ie shark dive, overnight safari and stayed in really nice accomm and did it for around $18,000 from memory. I'll turn on my laptop and post my spreadsheet of prices shortly

@Caesardust obviously you can cut out a fair bit of that. The garmin for example I think cost around $300, which was ridiculous, the shark dive, safari, cheaper accomm, I wouldnt spend the money on an embryoscope again.... If at day 5 you have blasts, that is good enough for me. I loved being able to watch it, but the two identified as the best didnt stick anyway so who knows.$ 1,618.00 donor $ 6 ,670.00 CFC $ 150.00 drugs $ 460.00 embryoscope $ 450.00 freeze $ 3,683.00 flights $ 99.00 insurance $ 2,270.00 accom $ 535.00 safari $ 550.00 shark dive $ 907.00 car/garmin $ 1,550.00 spending $ 18,942.00 TOTAL Last edited by JulieMalooley; 21-12-2015 at 20:39.

I haven't decided about the screening yet. I'll talk to dr m next Friday but if the tests are ambiguous for twins I don't think I'll spend the money and just wait for the usual screening tests. I can't wait to see them in a pic like yours where they actually look like babies
I reckon we will be due around the same time if I only get to 37 weeks with twins!Last edited by JulieMalooley; 07-11-2015 at 17:41.

Hi @JulieMalooley I have decided not to do a blood test diagnostic (Harmony etc) due to twins as well. I did the blood test to go with the NT scan this morning and have the scan in a few days. Will be interesting to see how they go with getting images with two in there.
Quick tip for the NT scan (something I didn't know until recently) is not everyone gets a Medicare rebate. There are specific criteria; assisted reproduction is one, high risk (twins) is another. But your OB has to note it on the referral for the scanning place to apply the rebate, you can't just ask for it.
We are planning for delivery at 37 weeks as well but I know the twins can't read a calendar so they may have other ideas.Last edited by Sunnygirl04; 07-11-2015 at 19:08.

Sunny, I only had the harmony test because the nuchal fold on one of the twins was a little thick. Don't forget the blood tests will be higher than standard due to double the amount of hormones.
