Perhaps someone else came up with the bet idea and Floyd didn't really have a say hence his reluctance to 'pay up'?
    - perhaps I'm clutching at cheeseburgers.
Floyd was told a particular brand of biscuit had been discontinued. He was confident that this was wrong, so confident that he said he'd do a cheeseburger run if he was proven to be incorrect. Of course he was wrong (didn't stop him hitting the supermarkets to try and find them) and he has to pay up now.

He's dragging it out and it's poor form!

Yes, I agree with the above Kate, you all need to to be suitable compensated, so fries and sundaes it is.

He still owes the cheeseburgers. If he doesn't pay up I just wouldn't bet with him again.

Hmmm Interesting conundrum *strokes chin while ruminating*

No it doesn't count. Had Floyd given notice it may have. The agreement was to actually DO a cheese burger run. Not offer to.

So who in the BH office is Floyd??

Floyd is attempting to be a maniacal genius, but is in fact a terrible loser and owes everyone (including me) TWO cheeseburgers for his attempted transgression.

I really want a cheeseburger now.

I'm nearby a McDonald's right now and seriously considering grabbing some on my way home!
