@Ree888 I think our next step will be a stim cycle. We'll be changing clinics for something cheaper most likely!
Thank you for your help! xo
So glad you're weaning off your meds! I bet that's a wonderful feeling. xo
@Bluemeeple Thank you! I'm on my phone so I haven't seen it.
@MrsChino Yesss it is soo gross! It does burn! During my last couple of cycles I was wishing I just had progesterone injections. /: lol
Congratulations on the second lines!! I have my fingers crossed for your BT on Monday! xo

Omg @BecT Obi wan is in the building!!!!!!!! I completely hear you on the anxiety, but a squinter is perfect for 5dp5dt. Now grow little padawan grow!!!
@mrsthomo Ah that's a bummer about the endometrin. But I'm glad you have a plan in place and can enjoy some time off over Christmas. If you're looking at low cost clinics, I'm sure you already know this but a bunch of the Eve docs also work at the fertility centre at springwood (if you wanted a bit of continuity). I've heard v good things about them and v good things about myivf also - they both sound great
@Ducky01 I'm so happy and relieved everything went well for your scan! Such great news. Good luck picking an ob - I've hear there are some great ones up your way.
Thanks for all the wishes ladies, the line is darker again today so I'm hoping it will stick. Pleeeeeease stick. Only 2 more days til BT. I sweet talked my way into an early BT (14dpo) because the day I was meant to have it originally was Christmas Eve (who needs 'that' phone call at Christmas?!). We're also heading up the coast on Monday to spend Christmas with the fam, so I wanted to get it done and then head off to drown my sorrows in plentiful G+T's by the pool. Looks like the G+T bit may not happen now, but there's no way I'm pushing BT back to Thurs!!

Hi 😊 I'm am reasonably new to bubhub (but have been told about how helpful it is) and wondering if I can join in..
I am 33 and living on the Gold Coast.. I have ttc for nearly 8 yrs now, with four miscarriages, the recent being in October this year.. I have seen a specialist and I have been diagnosed with PCOS.. He has also put me on metformin and advised me to see a naturopath in the new year.. 😊
Any advice or success stories would be great.. I am also open to suggestions..
I guess all I really need is to talk and connect with ppl who can relate to the emotional roller coaster this is...
I really hope you are all having a lovely day xx

Can I ask how many of you have had a successful FET resulting in a baby? I've only got frosties and I keep hearing people failing with FET but it working with fresh transfers. Feel like I'm going to fail before I even transfer my frosties.

@Ducky01 Yay for that awesome scan! I'm glad it all went well and bub is in the right place and has a perfect HB! When is your next scan or do you move to an OB now? Would be all complete new territory actually graduating from a FS! Did you get pics????
@BecT OMG!!!! Congratulations on another BFP!!!!! Your blasts are seriously of good quality! I am crossing everything that it continues nicely for you and you'll receive an awesome BT. Surely 5dp is a great sign for things to come But can see how you would feel very cautiously optimistic/ freaking out. Just breathe and keep yourself busy until BT day (easier said than done, i know...)!
@mrsthomo oh no for stuffing up your cycle! That must be so frustrating! At least you can enjoy the christmas festivities with all the drinking and also new years!
@MrsChino yay for darker lines! I completely get why you wouldn't want a BT near xmas...that's just unfair so I think you did well sweet talking your FS into an earlier BT. And 14dpo is completely acceptable! Yay... Hope your BT results are amazing and you can enjoy the most amazing christmas gift of all
@AngelK33 Welcome hun. I hope the metformin works wonders for your PCOS. I also have PCO and have been on metformin for 6 months now. No, success stories here just yet, but apparently I am an oddball anyway. Have you decided on a naturopath?
@Heyside how are you going hun?
@shelby27 I have heard from a few FS now that frozen actually has better success rates... but they also have success from fresh transfers so the jury is 50/50 on that one I believe. But in the near future I think they might move more towards frozen, but then theres also the cost factor etc so I don't think they will introduce it anytime soon...

AFM well I don't think we will do the super thing for the next cycle. Went to the bank and increased our loans instead ugh..... Some days I feel like we are committing financial suicide....
Went to a ladies meet up today and the baby conversation came up. Mostly that they weren't overly maternal and if they couldn't have kids they would just travel every year etc etc. And one said oh well there's always IVF if it doesn't happen... I really had to try so hard not to say anything and bite my tongue. So this catch up has left me in a fairly annoyed mood and just feel so upset that it has to be so hard, and guess I am beginning to realise more and more that I really don't have much hope left and I should start the donor process. The cafe also had a mothers group with a brand new newborn of course.
