    Default Leaking Amniotic Fluid

    Hi there
I am 18 weeks pregnant with twins (own sacs/own placentas). Earlier in the week I had some bleeding (no clots) and had brown discharge, which is now watery (small amounts).
I have been checked out at the Fetal Medicine unit where I have been going and in a nutshell they think I am leaking some amniotic fluid from Twin A. Both twins are measuring fine with good heartbeats however the fluid around Twin A is low.
I have been told it is a waiting game to see if it will fix itself as not much they can do.
Looking for some positive stories from others who may have leaked some fluid (singletons or twins) and what you did to make it through.
    Thank you xx

    Default Leaking Amniotic Fluid

My best friends waters broke with a singleton at 22 weeks and bubs held off till 28 weeks. All she could do was complete bed rest and wait to out. They thought he was going to be born a lot earlier than he did by the end he had zero fluid around him. He was born at 28 weeks and is now 19 months old

There is a lady in my son's DIG who's waters broke at around 17 weeks (by memory but may have been 19 weeks). She was put on bed rest in hospital and her waters replenished. They broke again around 27 weeks and bub was born and is now a very healthy nearly 2 yr old. Good luck mumma xxx
