Do Lino planks stick direct to the slab?

Hope it works - this is my floor. It comes in a big roll and they just roll it out and cut to size.
It's come a long way since the 70's!

That isn't what I was expecting at all!

I'm not sure if our floor would be suitable for vinyl though as we need to remove ceramic tiles and grind back concrete, so vinyl on a roll would be quite lumpy I'm thinking!

they can pour a very thin skim of cement to level your floor if its a bit bumpy from tiles etc. (called liquid cement)

We have vinyl laminate floors. Love them.
Easy to clean (vacumn & enjo mop or a quick sweep)
Dont mark easy - as in my 2yr old rides those plastic trikes all over them , i wear heels on them and have had plenty of things dropped on them & no chips, dints or scratches

These photos are great! I'm surprised at how nice the quality is of laminate and vinyl.
We're putting 13mm timber boards in our new place. I love timber.
But these are great and I never would have thought of them

I would have loved to do recycled timber floorboards in our new house but we couldn't so we got timber look tiles instead and they look great.

We have recycled Baltic timber floorboards with a water based matt finish. They are easy to care for and scratches etc dont matter as they are rustic looking.

All sound so great. I'm thinking it'll probably be some kind of laminate that we go for... It's annoying as I need to wait for insurance to see if they are covering our floor replacement and they called the other day to say there's been a delay 👿
