@allykat111 FRER detects a hcg of 4, possibly lower (I've gotten a faint positive the day after beta of 4 for both chemicals). Implantation usually takes place at 4dp5dt with urine hcg being detected the morning after (between a level of 3 and 5). However early excreted hcg is in 2 types, the tests pick them up different, some only pick up the type that is excreted a week after implantation (which is why a lot of ic say 10 ui but don't show up until after a digital positive), others, like FER, pick it all up.

K. I wanted to be clear so I called first response and they said their tests will pick up on as low as 8mIU/ml. When I had the transfer my nurse told me it should implant between 24-48 hours. I guess each clinic is different in what they think. I'm not going to stress yet and will give the FRER a go Sunday. My period is due Monday.

@JeB your transfer is the day after mine
Good luck for everyone in the tww hopefully there is a lot of good news in time for Christmas.
Afm not much is happening just waiting for transfer on tuesday, its my first fet so I don't know how these work. My last cycle with my son we went straight from epu to transfer with our son so this is all wierd and new. Plus I am still trying to figure out why they are using the day 4 instead of the day 5:-/

Better quality?? Is it still a blastocyst? I was curious why they didn't transfer my 4AA with my son as they transferred a 4BA but i came to find out my 4AA was actually a day 6 embryo, but it doesn't matter as I'm now pregnant with it!

@exilius "studies have shown increased clinical pregnancy rates when you are exposed to semen around the time of transfer and implantation" I had NO idea...my FS has said no intercourse while I am preparing for the FET transfer..wasn't sure of it was because of the vaginal estrace or for other reasons. He also said no intercourse until a positive blood test was given?? I will have to ask him about this tomorrow, because if thats all that we have been doing wrong this whole time then we need to get busy!! LOL - thanks! and Im sure my hubby will thank you as well
@babypanda, welcome to this crazy rollercoaster ride. Try to remain calm (I know it is easier said than done) just know that you are doing all that you can and this is really out of your hands. Stay positive and busy. This is a great discussion board when seeking support, answers, advice & just other women to relate to.
@mrsthomo goodluck with your transfer! How exciting. I wish that we were located somewhere near an acupuncture clinic because I hear amazing things when using it. Unfortunately no one in our hometown does fertility acupuncture and when I called near my clinic they mentioned they like someone to work on you before during and after so didn't feel it would be beneficial for us if we couldn't do all three.
@katt1011 thats amazing that you have a little boy and having sex after your transfer may have helped! However, I do recall being a little sore after the transfer so not sure I would be in the mood..but if studies have shown it increases chances I will definitely consider it.
@Bris1977 CONGRATS!! That is great news!
I am still learning all these short forms, can you explain the "5dp5dt" and "8dp5dt" to me?
@Annerley, wow sounds like quite the vacation! Hoping you got in some rest and relaxation. I am going into the clinic tomorrow to do another ultrasound and fingers and toes are crossed that my lining has gone from 6.6 to at least 7! Would like to be able to move forward with things.
