When I can afford to, I definitely prefer that my dollar goes to a business that does "more" for the community, the environment, the world. Some businesses like this that I will tend to use:
- Tsuno (sanitary pads - they support women in detention centres and a few other things)
- Who gives a Crap toilet paper ( provide sanitation facilities in third world countries - plus they deliver at no charge!)
- thank you (muesli bars, muesli, hand wash )
I'd love to hear about more similar businesses if anyone knows any?
