Church in the morning; then bushwalking and a BBQ with friends in the afternoon.

Cooked two dinners. The first wasn't cook through (curry) and it was getting late so I quickly whipped up some fried rice with vegies, a fried egg and a baked potato. It was actually really yummy. And the curry is going in the fridge for tomorrow.

Now I'm trying to get ds to sleep. It's been too long a day after such a long week. And we have another busy day tomorrow planned. 😯

We went out today to a popular local spot near the water, got hot chippies for lunch, the kids played at the park, painted a small plaster mold each and ran in the white wash before we headed home. Then i had a gigantic nap.

Tomorrow is just the usual mad rush to prepare for the week. And also ds#2 has a birthday party to go to at a play centre.

Dh has ducked out to get some ice cream then we are gonna watch some dexter

Just got home from my birthday dinner with my family! DS tried escargot ( snails) for the first time and and said they tasted like rubbery meat! DS fell asleep in 60 seconds and now just sitting down with DH to watch Sense8 on net flicks

    Default Saturday night chat.

I had a busy morning of shopping and seeing the Dr about my blocked ear, then to the park and visiting ILs this afternoon. Quickly threw together some yummy homemade hamburgers and chips for dinner then watched Monsters Inc. Miss 2.5 didn't have a sleep today so fell asleep watching the movie which is so much easier than actively trying to get her to sleep so with our spare time, I convinced hubby to straighten my hair. He does it better than I do!

Now I'm in bed watching mistresses.

Cake looks great @LoveLivesHere ! I bet you're glad it's over though, sounds like a nightmare.

    ETA Happy birthday @Elijahsmum !

    exhausting day.

DD had her calitsthenics competition ... so up at 6.30am ... home by 6pm.

She had a fabulous day though, and the girls did really really well, so is now happily tucked up in bed and will have a sleep in tomorrow

My dd2 who can't stand up straight without falling over won a pair of rollerskates. A lucky door prize at charity rollerskating event tonight. You have to love the irony there.

I spent the night with my ex before he went to work. We just watched a movie and spoke about us. I really miss us. He does too but it cant and wont work no matter what. I am glad we remained friends even though my heart has been broken since Sunday.
