It really does seem like it'd be the trigger injection

If the test was done two days after ovulation then it hasn't implanted yet so the Hcg is from your trigger injection not from pregnancy

As the girls said, if you triggered with something like Pregnyl, that can cause a BFP. Basically it's a waiting game but repeat bloods will be useful.

Also, don't get too down if it does come back negative because it could just be too early for a real BFP. A friend of mine triggers with Pregnyl and she POAS every morning to watch the sticks go negative so she knows when she gets a BFP that it's definitely pregnancy and not the trigger.

Was the trigger that caused the levels to go up when I first got the news that I wasn't pregnant and it was the trigger I was an emotional wreck but my partner has supported me and stayed positive so we are both now being positive and still trying.
Thanks again to everyone you have all been so helpful

Sorry this wasn't your month. Definitely wait till at least 12 days past ovulation to test so you don't get your hopes up. Good luck!

Seriously, don't lose hope yet! You triggered on the 29th so you're only 3 or 4DPO at the moment. You wouldn't expect a BFP till 8DPO at the ABSOLUTE earliest. I've never gotten one before 10DPO. This cycle isn't over till AF arrives.
