It is a jolly good exercise for your core and abs though whatever the case. On Friday after the session I could *really* feel my tummy muscles protesting lol. I've dropped 12s off my 50m sprint time in the month I've been doing it too - from geriatric snail to merely snail =D

Starting weight: 66kg
Last week: 63.8kg
A good loss...totally attributed to me having a mild bout of gastro early last week and then spending last night and this morning at emergency with DS, so no dinner or breakfast. I'm reminded of the line in The Devil Wears Prada something like "I'm just one stomach flu away from my ideal weight". But, hey, if I can keep it off, then all good.

Oh, I've never really ventured into this section before! But I'll jump right in, don't mind me
I'm doing the Optifast program, and am currently in week 2 of the 'intensive' phase. I have 3 Optifast products, then 2-4 cups of low starch vegetables and 2lt of water a day. I dropped 2.5kg in my first week, so if I can keep up those numbers that would be amazing, but I'll settle for 1kg a week drop.

After losing 10kgs I've hit a plateau This blows. I need to hit the gym more but with DH working the hours he is lately and my Velcro baby it's so hard.

Today was my first Monday since I started my Winter Challenge that I didn't fast; I've been doing Monday and Wednesday fast days for weeks on end but just woke today not wanting to think about food, eat normally and just start fresh another day. My body and mind was telling me today wasn't the day to starve, I've been feeling a bit anxious depressed these last few days so didn't fancy putting myself through such a strict regime.

Went for a run today, 30 sit ups and 10 squats. I'm cutting out all the sweets and sugary food so hoping to lose at least 5kg
