    I'm still here reading along and cheering you all on with your progress.
    Things have been quite topsy turvy health wise for me over the last few weeks and I've had a kidney biopsy, two massive IV steroid infusions and some other medication changes so far with another biopsy and med changes to come so lots of side effects (no excuse I know!) like fluid retention, increased appetitite, mood swings and insomnia so I'm avoiding the scales but just trying to stay on track with low calorie, low carb, healthy eating and some regular excercise - had the odd stuff it, I'm eating the chips day too but will just keep plugging away!

    That's a lot to be dealing with, misskitty.
    I find if I want chips the sea salted ones do less damage.
    just chips and salt, no added flavourings or preservatives, try keep them as clean as possible.


    Checking in here as I usually have a treat day on Sunday so there's no point in doing a weigh in after that.

    Weight beginning challenge on Monday 71.8
    Weight today 70.5

    I'm happy with that considering I can't get any time to exercise.
    I was stuck on 71.8-72.2 for a long while so I cut out sugar.
    It always makes a huge difference for me.

    Below 73kg. Been awhile since I saw a number like that. Total loss of 3kg since starting weight watchers 5 weeks ago.

    Hello Monday!
    I stepped tentatively onto the scales of doom this morning and honestly thought things would be much worse than the 70.4 that I saw.
    It's a gain of 400g but after recent events I'm ok with that and motivated to just keep swimming.

    I didn't get a chance to post yesterday...

    Starting weight: 66kg
    Last week: 62.4kg
    Current weight: 62kg

    I'm amazed I actually lost weight last week as we entertained on Saturday and I ate heaps, plus chocolate caramel slice and birthday cake for my little boy! Must be all the extra walking I'm doing now I'm back at work.

    I just joined Weight Watchers on Saturday so will be interesting to see how I go. Hoping it forces me to start making better food choices. I have chosen my weigh in day as Thursdays. Still need to try and work more exercise in. The gloomy weather is not helping!

    I had an awful weekend food wise, just awful. I weighed myself yesterday and was a kilo up from Friday 😞 I'm hoping it was partly fluid retention; Ive hardly drunk any water the last few days and my diet was really high in salt on the weekend. I've got weigh in day again this Friday and I'm worried it's still going to be higher than last week. Stupid bad decisions.

    hi I hope everyone is going well. I was surprised to see 100gms lost this week. I have been spending more time running after granddaughters than at the gym this week, but I guess exercise is still exercise. I have lost 9.2kg now, so im going be so happy to reach my first goal of 10 kg lost, in the next few weeks. marie.
