    After having 2 kids and breastfeeding I recently bought some new bras for the first time in years. I bought a couple of Berlei ones that are apparently Australia's #1 bra. They were so comfy I went back and bought another 2! A girl at work was collecting old bras to send overseas for women who have none so I donated a bunch of my old ones. I would hope to get a couple of years out of a bra but I have a few in rotation so they don't individually get washed that often. My sports bras gets washed after every wear. Normal bras get washed every 1-2 days in summer and up to 4-5 days in winter.

    I buy a few every 6-12 months but ditch a few at the same time. I end up with yukky stains where my nipples are (TMI?!) on lighter coloured bras, so they get thrown out sooner than darker colours.

    Wear twice then wash. In an underwear bag, thrown in with a regular wash. Sports bras get washed after each wear.

    I also just read you shouldn't wear the same bra two days in a row so the elastic recovers properly to eliminate stretching. So, have two bras on rotation...one for Monday, Wed, Thur the other for Tuesday, fri etc... Supposed to help! I'm guilty of wearing the same bra on consecutive days. I'm also guilty of not washing in the underwear bag. 😳

    I'll wear the same bra every day for a week. then wash in underwear bag. I'm basically down to my last one that actually fits properly (should go and get some more today actually). it was just a target cheapie that's really stood the test of time. in summer I'll wash them more frequently but why bother in winter? I sit at my desk for 9 hours each day and I don't sweat. it's hardly dirty.
