Default Did a stretch and sweep help start labour?

I'm curious to know what others experience of a successful stretch and sweep.

The main thing I want to know is when did labour start for you after getting one?

Thank you for your replies. I guess it'll be a wait and see thing.

I wish it was clear cut! I can't decide if I should have one or not.

I had two done for my last pregnancy and despite being fully effaced and 3cm then 4cm dilated it did not bring on labour (much to my frustration) I had my waters broken 2 days after the 2nd s&s and labour started 2 hrs later. My Ob was surprised that the s&s didn't work for me.
