Has anyone here vented their clothes dryer to the outside? My new dryer has the vent at the back and is blowing fluff all over the walls of the laundry.
The instruction manual says to vent it using a hose thingy but that would involve us getting a hole cut in the glass door & it's a big panel so won't be cheap. We don't have a window in our new laundry, only a sliding door.
I've never had this problem before always just left a window open a crack to prevent moisture build up.
I clean the lint filter every time.
So my question is
A) has anyone done this? Is it common to vent your dryer in Australia?
B) suggestions to reduce fluff build up?

I vent my through the window, but it's a wind out window so it's really easy to do. Did your dryer come with a cap to put over that section at the back so the lint doesn't blow everywhere?
There are venting kits you can get. It's a smallish box that sits next to your dryer and takes the moisture & lint out. Google it, it's a lot more common overseas from memory

Yes we've attached the cap at the back but it just directs the flow to a certain part of the wall.
I'll look for venting kits thanks!
