    Default Overseas holiday ideas

I'm after ideas for overseas trip with two kids under three.

Can you also throw in how much it cost you if you have been recently and what you did!

Malaysia. Totally depends on how long you want to go for.

So many options! But with two kids under 3, I'd prefer to keep my flight time down (less than 4hrs I reckon...). So much depends on what you want to get from your trip..is purely to relax? To get some culture ? The hang by the pool? To go sightseeing? How adventurous are you?

We did Vanuatu with 2 kids under 3 - stayed in a "fully inclusive" resort - ie meals were included, we just played on the beach, by the pool, relaxed and only left the resort area a few times - didn't really do anything touristy. It was fantastic! And stress-free.

We have also done a bit of Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore) with kids - but we are West Coast, so much shorter flight times....
New Zealand is great, but a holiday you have to be quite active in, so probably best when kids are older, to get the most out of it.

My DH is turning 30 next year. So wanting to maybe book a holiday now and pay it off over time as my friends done this.

I would like to book some accomodation through airbnb, we like doing our own thing. Exploring, zoos, camping, tourist sorts of things. And driving. I was thinking we should hire a car and drive once there but that would be expensive if we went to America or Europe.

I'm too scared to go to Bali

With 2 young kids I'd stay pretty close to Australia as the long flights are exhausting! And Europe for 4 people you would need a good $15,000 at least.

Options would be places like Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam. Fiji has great child friendly resorts with kids clubs etc
