    Wow @Bongley. I think this one is it for you! I have a feeling in my waters lol.
    I had my first clexane shot tonight - has my skin turned to leather or are they the bluntest needles in the world ?? I tried about 15 spots before I could get it to go in !! Then ewwwww followed by owwwwwwww..

    @leyshoja

    I reckon those Clexane shots are pretty ordinary too. I started mine on 29/08 and you should see the bruising, despite being gentle.

    I have found that sometimes when I insert the needle it stings straight away. Other times it slides in fine.

    If one stings going in, I won't inject it in that spot. I've found that if I re-introduce it at another spot and it doesn't hurt, it won't hurt when I administer the dose either.

    Sort of worth it I think, because as you said, once that Clexane goes in it can sting like a be-atch!
