Sorry ladies, scan was yesterday afternoon and I was a bit sad last night. It seems so ungrateful to be sad when we still have one going strong, but there you go, I was.

So we had two sacs but only one heartbeat. The fs didn't give me much info about the one who didn't make it, just that it was probably abnormal. He didn't look at it too much so I'm not sure if it was empty or not. But it was probably a blighted ovum. I might find out more at my apt with dr m tonight, he is an ob as well so he might be able to look at the scan and see.

So we have the second bub who is measuring 6w5d (I was 6w7d yesterday) and the HB was 127bpm. So this bubba is measuring about right and a strong heartbeat. It was def very cool to hear the HB!

DH is over the moon and doesn't understand how I am upset about the loss of the first twin. I think I would be accepting of it if it hadn't implanted at all, but to implant and start growing, then stop. I feel the loss.

I had a hcg and full blood count done for dr m this morning so it will be interesting to see what the number is now.

I didn't mean to leave you out, just needed to process and I didn't want to be a downer on the day when we were getting good news from @Petal40 and @midnite01😘

And it is still great news, after 9 stims and 6 transfers I have a heartbeat!

DH is also looking on the bright side in that this way we get to go back to Hawaii for number 2!

Bubba two is on the right hand side.ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1440566197.330412.jpg

@Chiefsgirl I'd be disappointed too - as much as we should be careful what we wish for - twins would be so exciting. I'm just really happy for you that you've got a little bean who's right on track !

I guess I have finally accepted my own infertility (yes, yes I know, I've already had 2 donors) but I always kind of thought there was a chance on the non-ivf months that it just might happen naturally (as if). Well, I'm at a point now where I could take a test but I can't even be bothered wasting a FRER because I know it would be negative. Now I feel old lol. On a brighter note, that means my next FET cycle is just about to start

Just wanting some advice. Just had a tiny spot on pad when I went for shower. And (sorry if tmi) but crinone excess was a reddish colour too 😞
