@BlondeinBrisvegas you have such great sayings "BFP airlines" and "endometrium valley" hilarious. Got to keep the humour up right!?

Lot of positive things happening on the thread lets hope its the thread that keeps on giving!

Fingers crossed for those in the TWW.
@Krysta74 - no experience with Harmony but have read a lot about it its a good non invasive option which I didn't have a choice of. I have had two amnios and one CVS so anyone needing advice on that I can help.

Hi @ertgirl I am sorry I just saw your post I hope with time you will feel better, completely understand that you have to take a break. Take care of yourself and I hope you can take comfort in your son. My little boy is quite insistent that he doesn't want a sibling

I have many (perfectly happy) friends who don't have kids or who have one and that made me feel better at times.

Hi ladies i just wanted to say hi and good luck to all those in tww. Congrats to all the bfp. Im almost 38 but my body is older they tell me with an amh of 2.5 and early menopause since 36. Ive so far had 5 cycles of ivf with no bfp. 1 chemical. . All embies look good on paper and make it to 5dblasts. But no implantation. However after reading this thread i am going to try the baby aspirin and predisone as i have hashimottos and although tsh is ok i think this could help? So a big thankyou ladies as you have given me new hope. I start stims around oct 8 so ive got time to do aspirin and predisone. My nurse said start with 5mg for 4 days then 10mg for 4days etc increasing then once at 25mg start reducing. Is this right? Fs not as supportive of this treatment but clinic nurse says do it as like you ladies she has seen great results. If im in the wrong place please let me know just wanting advice and support TIA

@Cathy69 that is interesting. My ob said not to bother with harmony, to do the standard nuchal fold scan and bt.

We used de and out donor was 26 with three kids. He said because of her age not to bother.

I am 10w2d today and have ob apt tonight so will bring it up again. If it's the same cost as the nuchal one I don't see the sense in waiting. Although I assume the nuchal one is Medicare claimable and the maternity one not?

@infinity888 I only start reducing once you have a negative.

I start prednisolone 2 weeks before transfer and start at 25mg then up on transfer but I have particular immune issues. The standard bondi protocol is 10mgs then up to either 15mg or 20mg on transfer. If you get a bfn you have to reduce by 5mg every 3 days. It's very important not to stop cd turkey as it affects your adrenal glands.
Also if you are taking steroids you need to take extra calcium, magnesium and folate. It can cause issues with bub if you don't.

With your amh and your amount of cycles done has your clinic suggested pgd testing to make sure your embies are normal? Mine looked great but all were duds.
