I asked what was wrong with the 2 abnormals and she told me the chromosome issues. They were completely random. She didn't offer any more information and I didn't ask. On the day of transfer I received a picture of the embryo which looked odd as it had fully hatched and the embryologist said it had thawed and recovered 95% of its cells. Now that it has implanted, I have no idea if I called them and asked the gender if they would tell me.
    @Emerald thanks for that, yes I have heard different things regarding being informed of the sex. I'd like to see some pics. I should have gone to SA to get some video footage, even better

    And yep agree that if you want to follow a certain theory then find the Medical expert who can treat you accordingly.

    Any poas today @Corbes?

    @Fudge09 how are you going?

    Yes, we are all lay people including her. Firstly, I'm not disagreeing that encouraging someone to self prescribe could be a dangerous thing to do..That I agree with.

    Secondly, my opinion to Leyshoja was given knowing that her FS had the intention of prescribing it for her anyway along with the clexane and baby aspirin. I didn't elaborate any further in my post as I thought everyone was keeping up with the thread so would of remembered that he'd already had an intention to implement a basic immune protocol. My opinion was based on that. Furthermore, I encouraged Leshoja to seek and expert opinion from a Reproductive Immunologist so a tailored protocol could be put in place. Whether she does or doesn't or what she chooses to do or not is up to her.

    Thirdly, what I don't like is when people attempt to pull rank and act superior by insinuating that just because they're university educated with a Veterinary Science degree and are able to prescribe meds to animals etc that somehow they're more qualified to offer an opinion or that opinion is more valid or credible than anyone else's. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to this topic, she's as much as a lay person about it as I am, so we're all on a level playing field.

    Furthermore, if you feel the need to defend Skyler's post then you go right ahead Luv, but I don't appreciate having not so subtle digs being directed at me, being taken to task, reprimanded nor chastised for something I haven't done.

    I don't need the reason why it's a bad idea explained to me. Like I've said in a previous post, I may not be University educated, but I'm not a frucking idiot!!

    @BlondeinBrisvegas I thought @tuxcat was agreeing with you that if you find a medical expert who follows a certain theory they can treat you with that - which is pretty much what you've said all along? Didn't see her post as a dig at you hon, but maybe that's just the way I read it?

    fwiw I think it's best left up to the doctors to prescribe meds. but I don't think any of the posts were having a dig at anyone. I don't like to see tension on the posts. the whole process is stressful enough. we're all friends here and value everyone's opinions.
