    Thanks to all who've provided a response. Dh and Dd are going to Fiji. I will check with the smart traveller website but I'm not sure how to go about checking the Fiji consulate/embassy? I'm guessing Fiji is not one of those countries where they'll be strict on paper work re: abduction.

    We went to Fiji and I took DS without my ex husband. Not once were we asked for any other paperwork or ID. Just took his passport.
