Hi this is my first time on a forum although I have always read them because I have learnt so much from other people's experiences. I'm 34 & DP is 35. We have been TTC for 6 months. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2011 & I also found out a couple of months ago that my thyroid TSH level was high (4.7). I am now taking Thyroxine daily which has helped my level go down to 1.4 (I have heard it needs to be under 2.5 to conceive). I changed GP's to one that specialises in thyroid and she did numerous blood tests and found out I also have MTHFR so I am now taking a Thorne supplement called Methyl-Guard which is an activated folate supplement. She told me not to take the folate supplements from the supermarket because they won't help at all for my situation. I'm also vitamin D deficient so I had an injection for that (the tablets were giving me nausea). I have my first appointment with my FS at the end of this month. My DP still needs to be tested. I had a hy co sy a few years ago that was clear. I was wondering if the FS will start me on anything that will help or will my DP need to be tested first? I really want to get things moving because I am so sick of waiting, it already seems like an eternity!
